The Hollywood Assistant Is Looking for Writers!

We’re expanding our Journalism team and looking for passionate, thoughtful, and even comedic voices to come write for us! If you're an assistant, coordinator, or entry-level professional working in entertainment with a knack for writing, we’d love for you to join us.

What You'll Be Writing:

Our articles span a range of formats and tones, including:

  • Opinion pieces on working as an assistant in entertainment

  • News coverage of current events in entertainment

  • Q&A interviews with established industry professionals and fellow assistants

  • Relatable humor pieces about the quirks of working in this industry

  • Deep-dive features and research-based reports

Who We’re Looking For:

Assistants, coordinators, or entry-level professionals in any corner of the entertainment industry. Representation, development, production, marketing—the more variety the better!

The time commitment is totally flexible. You can write as often as once a month, or just a few times a year. Whatever fits your schedule. We just ask that if you commit to an article, you follow through and meet deadlines.

There will also be opportunities to help host events and support our growth initiatives if that’s of interest to you.

Writing for us is a great opportunity to have your thoughts and opinions heard across the entry-level Hollywood community (and beyond—there are some heavy hitters watching us!) and make meaningful professional connections.

Interested?

Fill out THIS FORM! We’ll ask for your name, a bit of information about you, and a writing sample.
